The Canadian Orthopaedic Care Strategy Group (COCSG) is a not-for-profit organization that exists to raise awareness, validate and enhance the true benefits of musculoskeletal health and human mobility as it relates to Canadian productivity, competitiveness, total health care cost and the quality of life for all Canadians. The web site is intended to be a resource for the publication of ideas, papers, and facts for use by healthcare professionals, governments and industry, and is frequently updated to maintain a current and ongoing dialogue with site visitors.
Visually, by employing a strategic use of imagery, the site emphasizes the joy and satisfaction for Canadians of all ages to maintain active lifestyles throughout their lives. The purpose is to collectively depict Canadians of all ages enjoying the benefits of healthy muscles and bones as they grow older.
The home page features "teaser" items for key content sections such as Policy Matters and New & Notable postings, designed to provide easy access to important information inside the site.
The client also had a need to publish the organization’s studies and documentation on a timely basis, so a content management system was employed allowing the client to do just that, quickly and easily.
